Why I Love St Petersburg

There is something about Saint Petersburg that gets under your skin. St Petersburg is a whole planet which is combined beautiful incredible ancient architecture and growing underground art and music scene, the elegant canals and 342 bridges connecting opposite banks, white nights and drawbridges, deep culture with amazing ballet and modern shows, majestic historical buildings and classical artistic traditions, Hermitage and Mariinsky theater, Neva river and blooming parks. Its colours and incredible light stayed with each person who had visited that city! St Petersburg like a fairy tale world had materialized in the real world! I loved this special charm of this city. Everything, and I mean everything, has a story for the ages behind it. Whether it’s love, war or jealousy, each attraction, building and statue has some enormous amount of detail behind it. There was a lot of struggle here, clearly. There is the hedonistic atmosphere and the sense that great things are once again happening here.

I have been there many many times and I never doubted what to do on the weekend or how to spend part of my vacation - of course is to visit St Petersburg! And below you can see just small part of those beauty that you are meeting being there!
